Getting Started Guide

1. Unbox the wheel

   Remove the GS V2P and accessories from the packaging. Verify the wheel, toolkit, and sticker are present and inspect the paddles, encoders, and buttons for any visible damage. 
   
   

2. Confirm base compatibility

   Make sure you’re using a current MOZA wired base (R3, R5, R9 V2/V3, R12 V2, R16 V2, R21 V2/Ultra, or R25 Ultra). The wheel will not work with R9 V1, R16 V1, or R21 V1. 
   
   

3. Power off the wheelbase

   Before installing the wheel, switch off and unplug the base for safety and to avoid any unexpected calibration movements.
   
   

4. Attach the wheel to the quick release

   Align the GS V2P quick-release hub with the base’s QR. Slide the wheel straight onto the hub until you feel/hear it lock. Gently pull on the rim to confirm there’s no looseness.
   
   

5. Reconnect and power on

   Plug the base back in and power it on. Allow the base to complete its normal startup and calibration routine while keeping clear of the wheel.
   
   

6. Install or open MOZA Pit House

   On your PC, install the latest MOZA Pit House software (if not already installed), then open it and confirm the GS V2P appears in the device list.

1. Prepare your rig and base

    

   • Confirm your MOZA DD base is securely mounted to your cockpit, stand, or desk clamp.

   • Tighten any flexing joints so the base will not move under aggressive steering and shifting.

    

2. Verify power and USB connections

    

   • Ensure the base is connected to your PC via USB and to a stable power outlet or surge protector.

   • Shut the base down and disconnect power before installing the wheel.

    

3. Inspect the QR interface

    

   • Check both the base-side quick release and the wheel-side hub for dust or debris.

   • Make sure the locking mechanism is clean and undamaged.

    

4. Attach the GS V2P to the base
