Getting Started Guide
-
Unbox the wheel
Remove the GS V2P and accessories from the packaging. Verify the wheel, toolkit, and sticker are present and inspect the paddles, encoders, and buttons for any visible damage.
-
Confirm base compatibility
Make sure you’re using a current MOZA wired base (R3, R5, R9 V2/V3, R12 V2, R16 V2, R21 V2/Ultra, or R25 Ultra). The wheel will not work with R9 V1, R16 V1, or R21 V1.
-
Power off the wheelbase
Before installing the wheel, switch off and unplug the base for safety and to avoid any unexpected calibration movements.
-
Attach the wheel to the quick release
Align the GS V2P quick-release hub with the base’s QR. Slide the wheel straight onto the hub until you feel/hear it lock. Gently pull on the rim to confirm there’s no looseness.
-
Reconnect and power on
Plug the base back in and power it on. Allow the base to complete its normal startup and calibration routine while keeping clear of the wheel.
-
Install or open MOZA Pit House
On your PC, install the latest MOZA Pit House software (if not already installed), then open it and confirm the GS V2P appears in the device list.
-
Check for firmware updates
In Pit House, run any available firmware updates for the wheel and base to ensure best compatibility and performance.
-
Map buttons and encoders
Use Pit House or your sim’s control settings to assign the 10 RGB buttons, 5 rotaries, 2 thumb encoders, and 2 joysticks to your preferred functions (e.g., brake bias, TC, ABS, MFD navigation, pit limiter, radio).
-
Configure clutch paddle behavior
In Pit House, choose the clutch mode (combined axis, split axis, or button mode) and perform calibration. Test a few launches in your sim to confirm it behaves as expected.
-
Tune RPM LEDs and go racing
Set up your LED strip behavior and colors for each car/sim, then hop into a practice session to validate everything. Adjust mapping and LED settings as you settle into your preferred layout.
Product Installation Guide
-
Prepare your rig and base
-
Confirm your MOZA DD base is securely mounted to your cockpit, stand, or desk clamp.
-
Tighten any flexing joints so the base will not move under aggressive steering and shifting.
-
-
Verify power and USB connections
-
Ensure the base is connected to your PC via USB and to a stable power outlet or surge protector.
-
Shut the base down and disconnect power before installing the wheel.
-
-
Inspect the QR interface
-
Check both the base-side quick release and the wheel-side hub for dust or debris.
-
Make sure the locking mechanism is clean and undamaged.
-
-
Attach the GS V2P to the base
-
Line up the GS V2P’s QR spline with the base hub.
-
Push the wheel onto the hub with firm, even pressure until it clicks into place.
-
Attempt to rotate and pull the wheel slightly to confirm a solid, play-free connection.
-
-
Cable management (if routing additional accessories)
-
If you run dash displays, shifters, handbrakes, or button boxes, route their cables around the QR and along your rig so they don’t interfere with wheel rotation or pedals.
-
-
Power up and device detection
-
Reconnect power to the base and start your PC.
-
Open MOZA Pit House and verify the GS V2P is detected as the active wheel.
-
-
Calibrate paddles and verify inputs
-
In Pit House, open the calibration or test panel.
-
Pull the shifters and clutch paddles through their full travel and confirm smooth, consistent response with no dead spots.
-
-
Configure LED and button profiles
-
In the LED/RGB settings, set your rev bar color, shift flash behavior, and brightness.
-
Optionally use different profiles for different sims or car classes (e.g., GT3 vs F1).
-
-
In-game setup
-
Launch your preferred sim (e.g., ACC, iRacing, F1, rFactor 2).
-
Select your MOZA base, then bind each GS V2P input to the relevant in-game function.
-
Save separate control profiles for each title so you can swap quickly.
-
-
Final safety and comfort checks
-
With the car stationary, turn the wheel lock-to-lock and test all buttons, rotaries, joysticks, and paddles.
-
Confirm the wheel doesn’t contact your knees, rig frame, or monitor stand.
-
After your first few sessions, re-check rig bolts and QR tightness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kind of racing is the GS V2P best for?
A: The GS V2P is tailored toward GT and formula-style sim racing, where you need a 300 mm rim, dual-clutch launches, and lots of on-wheel adjustments. It’s especially well-suited to titles like Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, the F1 series, and rFactor 2.
Q: Which MOZA wheelbases work with the GS V2P?
A: It’s designed for MOZA’s current wired (conductive slip ring) direct-drive bases, including: R3, R5, R9 V2/V3, R12 V2, R16 V2, R21 V2, R21 Ultra, and R25 Ultra. It is not compatible with earlier wireless-only bases like R9 V1, R16 V1, and R21 V1.
Q: What are the paddles made from and how do they feel?
A: The shifter and clutch paddles are cut from 3 mm forged carbon fiber and use magnetic plus photoelectric sensing through non-contact hall sensors. The result is a very crisp, positive click with each shift and a smooth, precise clutch travel for race starts.
Q: How many inputs can I actually map on the GS V2P?
A: Between the 10 RGB mechanical buttons, 5 rotaries, 2 thumb encoders, and 2 joysticks, you get 28+ programmable inputs. That’s enough to cover brake bias, diff settings, TC, ABS, ERS/DRS, wipers, lights, radio, pit functions, and full menu/MFD navigation.
Q: Can I change the colors of the buttons and rev LEDs?
A: Yes. The wheel has 10 RGB LEDs in the rev strip and RGB backlighting on the buttons with 8 color options. You can change colors, patterns, and shift timing in MOZA Pit House, and even set different profiles per sim or car.
Q: Is this wheel beginner-friendly, or mainly for advanced drivers?
A: It works for both. Newer sim racers appreciate the clear, labeled layout and comfortable grips, while more experienced drivers benefit from deep customisation, dual-clutch starts, and a control set that supports competitive league racing and e-sports.

Tracking & Delivery
Tracking information will be provided by email once your order ships.
Freight deliveries are typically curbside delivery unless otherwise arranged.
